Cecilia Russo Marketing 15th Anniversary Entrepreneur Grants for Small Business Owners Application Guidelines
Cecilia Russo Marketing has launched the 15th Anniversary Entrepreneur Grant program to support sole entrepreneurs and small business startups in the State of Georgia. Small Business owners are eligible to apply for grants up to $5,000 that can be used for the advancement of said small business.
ELIGIBILITY OF APPLICANTS: Entrepreneur grants are open to small businesses registered under the State of Georgia, according to the US Small Business Association (SBA) definition of a small business, which includes employment (from 1 to 500 employees). All small business owners can complete an online application form (one entry per entrepreneur). Winners must show a current State of Georgia business license that was filed within a year of the grant application.
HOW TO ENTER: Applicants must submit a written pitch of no more than 1,000 words explaining their business and how it would benefit from a $5,000 grant and continue to propel the economic impact in our State. The application must be submitted on the Cecilia Russo Marketing website, www.crussomarketing.com.
APPLICATION TIMELINE: Grant entries will be accepted from 12 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on April 6, 2023, through 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on October 1, 2023.
GRANT FUNDING: Grants of $5,000 will be awarded to three recipients for a total of $15,000. The designated recipients shall receive direct communication regarding the transfer of funds.
APPLICATION PROCESS: Once the application period is complete, an evaluation panel will review all completed applications and determine the three awardees. Potential winners will be notified by email and/or telephone and must sign and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility and Release within ten (10) days following the date notice is sent or such other date set by Cecilia Russo Marketing. Failure to respond within the applicable time period will result in forfeiture of the grant, and Cecilia Russo Marketing shall have the option to award the grant to an alternate winner. All income taxes resulting from acceptance of the prize are the responsibility of the winner. By entering this entrepreneur grant, the entrant accepts and agrees to these Official Rules and the decisions of Cecilia Russo Marketing, which shall be final in all matters. Acceptance of a grant also constitutes permission to Cecilia Russo Marketing to use the winner’s name, likeness, and biographical information for marketing purposes without further compensation or right of approval, unless prohibited by law. All federal and state laws apply. Void where prohibited.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By applying to this entrepreneur grant, entrants waive all rights to hold Cecilia Russo Marketing responsible for any claim, liability, loss, damage (including punitive, incidental, and consequential damages), or expense (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with participation in the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize, to the fullest extent permitted under applicable state laws. Cecilia Russo Marketing shall not be responsible for late, incomplete, or incorrect entries; an entrant’s failure to receive prize notices due to entrant’s spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for entrants’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information; technical, hardware, or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled, or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in this application; by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this application; or any typographical, technological, or other error in the publishing of the offer, administration of the grant, or announcement of the grant(s). If, in Cecilia Russo Marketing’s opinion, there is such an error, or there is any suspected evidence of tampering with any portion of the grant application, or if technical difficulties (including viruses and bugs) compromise the integrity of the grant application, Cecilia Russo Marketing reserves the right cancel or modify this grant in such manner as it deems appropriate.
CHOICE OF LAW AND FORUM: Entrant agrees that all matters arising out of or relating to this grant application and these Official Rules are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Georgia without giving effect to any of its conflict of laws provisions thereof. Entrant further agrees that any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to this grant and these Official Rules shall be brought exclusively in the applicable federal or state courts located in Chatham County, Georgia.
