(SAVANNAH, Ga.) Felder & Associates, an award-winning architecture firm in Savannah known for their expertise in historic preservation, commercial, and luxury residential building designs, is pleased to announce the addition of three new team members: Senior Architect Ken Gorski, Senior Architect Renea Rice and architectural intern, Jack Felder. This exciting expansion strengthens Felder & Associates’ commitment to delivering exceptional design and innovation to their clients.

Senior Architect Ken Gorski

Gorski is responsible for managing and coordinating multiple projects and clients, including developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and deliverables. He assists other project managers and develops workflow for junior associates and interns, coordinates with diverse teams of engineers, consultants, and government agencies as needed for assigned projects, and supports project selection, scope of work, proposals, scheduling, conceptual design, and client meetings.

“Brian has devoted his career to developing a reputation of excellence within the Savannah community and beyond, and I am excited to work on his team as we continue to evolve, improve and innovate,” said Gorski.

Gorski’s career has focused on providing practical and innovative design solutions to enhance communities and properties. He tailors each project to the unique needs and variables, guided by client desires and requirements. Starting with “Arts and Crafts” design concepts inspired by Saarinen and Wright, Gorski has adapted and customized his approach for a diverse range of clients, including builders, developers, investors, charities, homeowners associations, and individuals. His approach combines design, development, construction, business, and customer service. Gorski aims to uphold Felder and Associates’ tradition of excellence and bring his own design style and creative problem-solving to the Savannah landscape and other markets served by Felder.

Gorski brings a wealth of experience to Felder & Associates, having held leadership roles at top architecture firms such as Horonzy Design & Development, MHK Architecture, and Design Styles Architecture. He has also successfully managed his own consulting business, Cagey Consulting, and served as the Residential Design Director for Flagship Construction.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Design from Clemson University, as well as a Masters of Architecture and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Illinois. Both of his Masters degrees had a specific focus on business administration for Architecture and Real Estate Development.

Gorski possesses a distinguished record of service and leadership in community organizations. Notably, he has dedicated six years to the Board of Directors at Habitat for Humanity in Horry County, SC. Furthermore, he has held the esteemed positions of President and Director of Operations for the Wave Rider Resort HOA in Myrtle Beach, SC. Additionally, he has contributed his expertise as the Architectural Review Board administrator for Pineland Lakes HOA.

When he’s not working, he can be found immersing himself in activities like tennis, hiking, biking, kayaking, cooking, baking, and traveling. Moreover, he has a keen interest in real estate investment and renovations. Additionally, Gorski enjoys indulging in the fantasy realm of Dungeons & Dragons.

Senior Architect Renea Rice

With over 20 years of diverse architectural experience, Rice is skilled in various facets of the field, such as master-planned communities, multi-family residential housing, government facilities, commercial buildings, corporate office interiors, private and corporate dining, custom residential, and ecclesiastical campuses. Her expertise aligns perfectly with Felder & Associates’ specialties.

“This incredible opportunity allows me to contribute to the community and showcase the exceptional quality and service provided by Felder & Associates,” stated Rice. “I’m eager to immerse myself in the role and remain engaged.”

Rice has accumulated extensive experience in Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina, working as an independent contractor and at distinguished firms such as MSTSD in Atlanta and Baker Barrios Architects in Orlando, FL. Rice’s educational background includes undergraduate degrees from Emory University and Georgia State University, followed by a Master of Architecture with honors from Georgia Institute of Technology. Following this, Rice successfully owned and operated Rice Architect in Amelia Island, FL for 17 years.

“We are excited to welcome Renea to our team. Her extensive experience is impressive and she shares our values and strong work ethic,” stated Brian Felder, the Founder and Principal Architect of Felder & Associates. “I’m looking forward to her contributions for many years to come.”

In her free time, Rice enjoys sailing and cycling.

Jack Felder, Intern

Jack Felder, son of Brian Felder, is pursuing a degree in architecture at Auburn University. He has worked the last four summers with Felder & Associates, gaining valuable experience in the field of architecture. During his time with the company, he has demonstrated a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to excellence. He has also developed strong relationships with his colleagues and clients.

In his expanded role at Felder & Associates, Jack is eager to use his skills and experience to help the company achieve its goals and is fully immersed in all aspects of the industry, delving into both design and technical elements. He is confident that he can make a significant contribution to the team and highly values the sense of camaraderie and teamwork that prevails within the firm. He is excited to be a part of the company’s continued success.

“It’s an incredible chance for me to follow in my father’s footsteps. He has established an extraordinary team that constantly supports my growth and learning,” said Jack Felder.

“Jack came to us with a strong recommendation from his mother,” Brian Felder joked. “But seriously, if his dedication here matches his achievements at school and in the classroom, I’m confident he’ll be a valuable part of this company.”
