As a non-profit, the agency works hard to do a lot on a tight budget. Child care fees and the grant awards received, do not cover the expenses associated with operations. One of the biggest ways they make up this shortfall is through funds raised at Love Walk. Love Walk 2019 is scheduled for Saturday, February 9, 2019. The 3.6 mile walk begins at 9:00 a.m. at Wesley (1601 Drayton Street) and is a pleasant stroll through each historic square on Bull Street. (SAVANNAH, GA) The Rotary Club of Savannah is searching for volunteers to serve as community readers for the second annual Savannah Rotary Read-In on Wednesday, March 13, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Last year’s inaugural event drew 526 volunteer readers who read to students in 566 classrooms.
